Greetings from Hyperspace!

We are pleased to announce the expansion of our publishing company, Proton Press, to now include music. Proton Press Music would like to welcome Satchi Om, Sunchannel, Divine Machine, Hydrone, and Sursum to our catalog of instrumental music created by people in the tattoo industry.

Because the tattoo art form is host to such a range of different tastes and sensibilities, we've started out with some great variety in our music catalog:

Satchi Om: Galactive bearing traits of dub reggae and drum & bass, Galactive is heavy and intense with a trippy high-energy crunch

Sunchannel: Current Michele Wortman’s new release features lush layers of sonic harmony and hypnotic sounds

Divine Machine: Eclectro The punchy, upbeat energetic mood of Eclectro by tattooist Cory Cudney will light up your neurons

Sursum: Solutions Combining electronic sounds and textures with richly layered guitars, Solutions explores post-rock expressions

Hydrone: Healer Characterized by its resonant spaces and its trancelike nocturnal pace, Healer is a journey for the creative mind

Come give a listen... we've got a free music player there for you to check out all the tunes, plus a shopping cart where you can download songs or entire CDs. In addition, we are offering hard copy CDs of all music along with the Proton Music Pack, featuring all 5 CDs at a discount. This is all brand-new stuff, being heard by the world for the first time. Come check it out, and help spread the word!

The new Proton website also has a section dedicated to the books we're publishing, including Guy Aitchison's Organica and Reinventing The Tattoo, Michele Wortman's Moments Of Epiphany, and the tattoo community project Scratch Art. We are also now carrying Tattoo Prodigies, edited by Mike Devries and published in cooperation between Proton Press and Mike's company Memento Publishing. Tattoo Prodigies features some of the best tattoo art being done today in a gorgeous oversized hardcover volume and is a must-have for any artist or serious collector.

Also this month, Michele Wortman has a big article out in Tattoo Society Magazine, showcasing the best of her recent portfolio of her innovative feminine style. This is Michele's first magazine feature in a long time, so if you are a fan of her work, don't miss this chance to see her cutting-edge tattooing. Tattoo Society is available at your local newsstand; in addition to Michele's article, the magazine features some of the best variety of tattoo art from around the world. Check it out while it's still available.

Thanks, and we'll be in touch soon!
