Greetings from Hyperspace!
Last month we were involved in a number of exciting events. This
year we've been producing short video documentaries about many of the
events we've been involved with, and although we haven't finished all
of July's production yet, we've posted a short video about the
Scratch Art exhibition we just co-hosted at the Canvas L.A. Gallery
in Los Angeles, called "Scratch Art CanvasLA". Scratch Art was a fun
project that resulted in a gorgeous art book, rich with material and
talent, and two mind-blowing exhibitions. This video covers the
Canvas L.A. Scratch Art show; to see the other Scratch Art show we
held at the Hell City Tattoo Fest in May, check out our "Hell City
Scratch Expo" video.
If you like these videos, they are the third and fourth in a series
we've been working on all year. The first one, HyperCoSMic Painting
Jam, covers a live painting event we participated in this past
January at a club in L.A. with visionary artists Alex and Allyson
Grey. The second video is about a similar event in a much different
setting: Philly Paint Jam involved the same four artists, plus Corey
Kruger, Jon Clue, Nick Baxter and Nikko Hurtado. This time we
painted at a tattoo convention instead of a hotel, making for a
completely different energy. If you enjoy documentaries about art

In addition to the new video, Michele Wortman has made some updates
to her online galleries including some major new work in the Bodyset
gallery, where she features her "bodyset" pieces. These are
preplanned, unified sets of tattoos that are designed to work as a
whole overall look as opposed to a number of individual tattoos. She
also has new work posted in her Hypersketch gallery and her New
Paintings gallery.
