Happy New Year from Hyperspace Studios!
There's no better way to beat the winter blahs then by staying busy,
and that's just what we're up to here at Hyperspace Studios. This
month, we begin by flying out to Hollywood on Jan. 14th where Guy
will be filming an episode of the hit TV show LA Ink with his sister
Hannah; the two of them will be doing a large collaborative piece on
one of Guy's regular clients. We'll be cramming as much cool
material into that episode as we can, and look forward to the
opportunity to share the vision with as wide of an audience as
possible.
While we're in California, we'll also be participating in a live
painting event with legendary visionary artists Alex and Allyson Grey
at the Crash Mansion in Los Angeles. The evening will begin with
Alex giving a presentation on visionary art and architecture, along
with a screening of the latest video collaboration he's done with
renowned hard rock band Tool. This will be followed by a 5-hour live
painting performance featuring Alex, Allyson, Michele and Guy and a
variety of DJ's performing. This is a rare and very cool event that
any art fan or tattoo collector will find inspiring. Door proceeds
go toward the construction of the Chapel of Sacred Mirrors.
Also this week, Guy has completed a small series of new acrylic
paintings of organic spiraling forms; anyone who enjoys Guy's
paintings can check them out at his painting gallery.
