Since its debut earlier this summer, we've added a few exciting new features to our new music website, www.protonpress.com, where we are promoting and distributing instrumental music produced within the tattoo community. We now have a shuffle feature at the site, so go ahead and visit us to have a free listen to all of the great musical material we have there including the heavy dub step beats of Satchi Om, the hypnotic psychedelic rhythms of Sunchannel, the ethereal atmospheric guitar sounds of Sursum, the punchy electro of Divine Machine and the subterranean spaces of Hydrone. With the shuffle feature enabled, you can use Proton Press Music as a radio station, and enjoy the wide variety of creative new sounds for free. And if you fall in love with any of the music there, you can download high quality MP3s of the songs for 90 cents each.
We also are now offering the Proton Pack, a discounted bundle featuring all 5 of the newest CDs we are carrying at the site. This is a great opportunity to fill out your music collection with some great variety, coming from some very creative musicians. In addition, we have added a Videos page to the site, where we recently posted some brand new music videos. Many of them were produced by veteran tattooer Guy Aitchison and feature a colorful tapestry of animated imagery to accompany the songs. Take a look... and help spread the word by sharing them with your friends. This is some brand-new original material, and we could use your support in helping to spread the word!
Last but not least, Proton musician Satchi Om will be playing a set at the 4th annual Mystic Garden Party taking place July 21-26 in Manton, CA. This will be a fun event with tons of music and other attractions, including live art performances.
