Greetings from Hyperspace!
After four months of nonstop work, we're proud to announce the release of Innerstate, a book and DVD combo about the unprecedented Innerstate tattoo art event that took place last summer at the Hell City Tattoo Fest in Columbus, Ohio. At this event, we challenged 40 of tattooing's most innovative fine artists to each create a masterpiece, based on their own personal inner vision, in a performance setting. Not only was the event itself an electrifying, colorful, educational experience, but the completed body of art produced there was unbelievably epic in its scope and talent.
Produced by veteran tattooist Guy Aitchison, Innerstate: The Movie is a 50 minute documentary film featuring interviews with the artists and an inside look at their visions, techniques, concerns and goals. It's a fast-paced film with a great soundtrack, perfect for your tattoo shop video library. It comes with a 100 page full-color softcover book with additional interviews and quotes from the artists, photos of some of the event's highlights and gorgeous full-page color plates of the finished pieces.
