Greetings From Hyperspace!

Hopefully, you have all survived tax time and are ready to celebrate the coming warm months. We're kicking off this Spring by attending the Philadelphia Tattoo Arts Convention in Philadelphia PA April 18-20. Although Michele will be doing some tattooing at that show, both she and Guy will be there primarily to paint and to promote their books. The convention will have as its centerpiece a weekend-long Visionary Primitive performance, which brings together some of the top visionary artists in tattooing, such as Guy and Michele, Jon Clue, Cory Kruger, Nick Baxter and Nikko Hurtado, along with NYC's foremost visionary painters Alex and Allyson Grey. If you are anywhere in the East Coast area, this is an event not to miss!

Although we will be making the grand debut for the Scratch Art book at the Hell City Convention in May, we got the books from the printer early enough that we can bring a few of them to the Philadelphia show. We'll be bringing a strictly limited number of them along, mostly for the participating artists in the book who happen to be at that show. So if you made a contribution to Scratch Art and will be attending the convention, be sure to come see us at the Hyperspace booth as early as possible- we expect to run out quickly. Once we return from the show, we'll be offering the book at a special participant's price to the artists in the book- but it will not be available to the public until the Hell City show May 16-18. After that, it will be available through our website and through a number of other suppliers. If you made a contribution to the book and want to order an advance copy, contact our manager Jason for more information.

If you enjoyed our HyperCoSMic Painting Jam video, that event was also covered by Tattoo Magazine, which has a great article on it in their latest issue, #226, at newsstands now.

That event was so cool that we're currently in the process of organizing another one, which will hopefully happen in July. In addition, we are now offering a high-quality signed canvas art print of the organic spiral painting that Guy created at that event, that will make an impressive statement on any home or studio wall. It's available now at the Hyperspace online store, along with our other archival fine art reproductions.

Also in newsstands now is the debut issue of a new tattoo magazine, Custom Tattooz, from Australia. This magazine will have limited distribution outside of Australia, but if you are a resident of AU or NZ it should be readily available. It's a glossy new magazine featuring work from around the world, including a big feature on Guy's work. Outside of AU, you may still be able to order a copy by contacting the publisher. Its a great new magazine, so show your support by picking up a copy.

We'll be in touch soon... and hopefully we'll see you in Philadelphia!
